DaveC, Thanks for the heads up on that issue with Flash. I have confirmed that this is a known issue with bug #3827641, and is slated to be resolved with the release of Flash Player 15.0.0.188. As to the launcher=false call, it just tells Connect to not look for the add-in. I'm not sure how it tests that you have it. A better way to test would be to use the Test Your Meeting Connection page. For my server it is but you can subsitute your own server URL if you want.

Jan 30, 2013 - avast won't allow flash player upgrade! No worries, it should work fine as it's only the adobe web installer. Mac 10.9.4 /Safari and Firefox.

Follow the instructions on link 2. However, it sounds like there might be other issues when you describe what you are seeing. Normally, I would have you test in the Guest User, but to download and install, let's try doing this in a new User. First copy the links to a text file and save in the Shared folder.

CREATE A NEW USER • Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the New User by logging out under the Apple in the Menu bar. • Log into the new User • You can skip the Apple ID setup. Select Don't Sign in > Continue > Skip • Drag the text file from Shared to the Desktop • Click on link(s) in text file. This will open Safari. • If Flash downloads, drag the installer to Shared for access in your regular User.

• Log out/in to your regular User. If you are unable to download Flash in the new User. 1) Download and run the combo updater. OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update (Combo) 2) Test to see if you can download and/or install.
