Mac Onedrive For Business Crashing

OneDrive for Business new Version 17.3.6798.0207. The NGSC will be automated updated, if Microsoft press the Button. If Microsoft has done some changes on OneDrive for Business, OneDrive or SharePoint Online AND they also need changes on the client, the can initiate the update. No Admin required. Per usual, everything is gold except for the SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business situation. Customers big and small just fine it all perplexing compared to, say, Dropbox. Question re: Mac users.

Is there now a reasonable OneDrive for Business Mac client? Right now we're telling Mac users to use the SharePoint interface. Actually, right now we're testing out SimplySo, but that's another $10/mo per user! Can Microsoft just buy Dropbox or Box already?;-) • • • • •.

I had an internal tech test it out. Does this NOT jive with your experience?

Give me a report on the pros and cons. Easily sync files without having the upload them but save them to a directory instead on OS X and Windows. OS X has one app that does personal and business instead of having one drive and one drive for business. Can sync multiple Sharepoint sites on Windows. Cannot sync SharePoint sites on Mac OS X.

OS X App has more 1 star ratings than all other ratings combined. Lots of users reported crashing and hanging. On Windows difference between one drive and one drive for business can be confusing and Windows could try to use regular one drive as the default.

I have had two problems with OneDrive on my Mac (Yosemite) the last couple of months: • not synching • crashing Microsoft has, but non of those fixed my problems. At some moment i found a solution where you need to delete a.dat file,. Steps: • Completely close/quit OneDrive • Browse to ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.skydrive-mac/Data/Library/Application Support/SkyDrive/settings • Delete the.dat-file in that folder (something like E9679F3BFD15F317.dat) • Start OneDrive - hopefully it doesn't crash and syncs anything not synched before Not what you want, but until a better solution comes along, at least you can get OneDrive to work again;-).
