Hello I am having the same problem. 'sync pending folder' I checked the above and am running all the same version 14.3.9 - checked the plugin too On my Mac OSX 10.6.8 Am fully up to date. Mine was working fine up until a month ago.

I never had this issue before. My email settings are the same and have not changed.

I haven't adjusted them at all I am using IMAP. Again, all of this was working fine until a month ago. Now I get this 'sync pending' on the bottom right side of outlooks window. I close outlook, reopen it and it starts working again as normal. Until it happens again the next day or a few hours later. I am far from a 'tech' person.

Can someone provide 'dummy type' info that can help? Should I delete my imap email settings and re-enter them? I have the same problem on my MacBook Pro using Outlook 2011. I am using Cox Internet. I did get them to reboot their router with no avail. However, when they changed the IP address of their router, then everything worked fine.

(When I say 'worked fine' I mean that Outlook connected to the server and there was a constant sync going on.) It worked great for about a week and then the same thing happened again. When they changed the IP address again, all worked great. I have talked to my Hosting company and they say they are not blocking any IP addresses, so I am assuming it is something in Outlook that is causing the problem. Does this help anyone? I am assuming that something is blocking my server (by the way, I have three IMAP accounts. One is going to Host Gator and there is no problem with that one.

The other two are going to Codero. Both of those accounts get blocked. I am able however to send from those two accounts using Outlook. Where is the blocking taking place? Anyone come up with solutions for this?

Im on Mavericks using Outlook latest and greatest update but after awhile IMAP folder doesn't sync, and the worst part I never know that its not pulling down new emails. Whats the adobe after effects option for mac. On top of that issue when I close Outlook and re-open, it begins immediately pulling in new emails but most of them are marked as Read (I haven't read them from any other source or device). I am on a new SSD server and just put in these email settings so I don't think deleting and re-entering account will solve the problem.

Somewhere in Outlook the connection is going to sleep and needs to be fixed. I've seen some other fixes about the Root folder and sync but those haven't fixed my issue. MICROSOFT PLEASE HELP!

You are our only hope for decent email on the mac. After switching to IMAP (from GMail) I encountered this same problem. A solution that appears to work: ' set the Preferences – Accounts – Advanced – Sync IMAP folders every xxx minutes to OFF.' Hat-Tip to this site for the solution: Not sure why it works, or why the IMAP folders keep staying in sync without this set, but as soon as I checked it to OFF my stuck sync started up again (no restart required) and has stayed in sync since. EDIT: Whoops, false alarm. Changing the settings made it work for a while (gave it a kick/reset), but then it hung again after a period of time.

Still searching for a solution. Pe design for windows 10.
