To move an email from your spam folder to the inbox and, optionally, secure future messages from the same sender from being treated as junk in Outlook 2013: Open the Junk E-mail folder in Outlook. I recently had to obtain an upgraded computer due to a hd failure. Since my preference is to use Outlook mail client sw to access my @sbcglobal mail account (yahoo / at&t), I went ahead and installed outlook 2016. I'd now like to access my mail via two devices, so I went ahead and set the account on the new device to IMAP. Problem is, on the new devices first sync with my mail account, Yahoo went and added a 'Bulk Mail' folder to the Outlook 2016 file hierachy.

This is an unwanted folder that appears to be a default depository for an incerdible amount of spam (over 50 a day). While I delete the contents here on a daily basis, it's a pain in the posterior.

What's worse is that this Yahoo-specific folder is immune to any and all normal Outlook methods to block contents here via address rules etc., and Yahoo has also disabled the standard Outlook function to stop syncronization of the Bulk Mail folder via 'Unsubscribe'. Is there any way to either remove this annoying folder from Outlook 2016, or otherwise access a setting, ANYWHERE, unistall, reinstall, reconfigure, so that I don't have to deal with all the useless crap that ends up in the Yahoo-specific Bulk Mail folder on my Outlook 2016? I am hoping this gets to 'scootermobile.' My yahoo mail (on the web at mail.yahoo.com) has a Bulk Mail folder (which seems to have been placed there by Yahoo). However, it is a subfolder in my duplicate Sent folder (I have two Sent folders in the web version of Yahoo Mail for some reason - one in the top directory and one in 'folders' and mail I send appears in both folders). Spam does appear in the Spam folder. On my iphone 7plus iOS 10.3.2, the Mail app only shows 1 Sent folder. It is in the upper folder directory and it has that Bulk Mail subfolder in it. It appears that the one in the iPhone Mail app is the one lower down on the directory in the web version of Yahoo Mail 'folders'.
