Hello, I have a dell laptop, and I had lots of problems with text jumping around. Part of the problem was my touch pad. Every time I touched it the cursor would jump around. Unless there is some sort of problem with the your auto format in PowerPoint. Go to the Microsoft Office button, PowerPoint options, proofing tools and the auto correct options button.
